THE DAY CALLED 'X'by HOSTILE SURGERY Hostile Surgery is a noise project from Geneva, Switzerland. Their album The Day Called 'X' was released May 1, 2020. You can check it out here: https://hostilesurgery.bandcamp.com/releases My Impressions: This is a pure noise release. However, contrary to the conventions of the genre, the songs are soft and even have a kind of sweetness. Yes. the sweetness is ensconced by a foreboding and anxiety. The sounds are mostly tears, hums and windy wails. But there is still a soft touch not usual for this type of work. It is effective.
